Non poteva mancare nella nostra collana un video dedicato alla chitarra brasiliana. Se poi a realizzarlo è uno straordinario chitarrista, un grande musicista, un Maestro come Irio De Paula, la produzione e la pubblicazione di questo video assume un_importanza ed un rilievo tale da diventare assolutamente irrinunciabile da parte nostra: una vera e propria "chicca" sia per gli appassionati di musica brasiliana, sia per i chitarristi classici orientati verso la musica moderna che per i chitarristi jazz e finger pickin_ che vogliono ampliare il loro bagaglio tecnico ed armonico. Non a caso, infatti, sono tanti i musicisti che pur muovendosi in altri ambiti, si sono occupati di musica brasiliana: un universo dove, tra l_altro, regna sovrana la chitarra... e chi meglio di Irio De Paula è in grado di rappresentarci la ricchezza armonica, melodica e ritmica di quest_universo sulla chitarra? E in questo video Irio lo rappresenta, lo "racconta" e lo esprime nel modo che gli è più congeniale: "semplicemente" suonando.
Ci si rende conto subito dell_inutilità delle parole di fronte a quella quantità e qualità di note, sempre sorprendente, che riesce a tirare fuori dalla sua chitarra. Dopo il primo brano, infatti, non abbiamo potuto fare a meno di aggiungere un'altra telecamera per entrare maggiormente nei particolari e cogliere, anche visivamente, il più possibile delle sue esecuzioni.
