Una lezione di puro blues, direttamente con il rinomato Buddy Guy. Nato nel 1936, fu Willie Dixon a proporgli il primo contratto importante, per la casa Chess. Negli anni 60 e 70 Guy ha accompagnato sul palcoscenico, tra gli altri, Muddy Waters, Howlin' Wolf, Junior Wells, Rolling Stones. Ha collaborato nell'album dei Fleetwood Mac registrato a Chicago "blues jam at Chess". I suoi passaggi chitarristici blues-soul, hanno influito marcatamente su S.R.V. e Eric Clapton, i quali hanno ripreso alcune sue canzoni (Eric in particolare considera Guy, come uno dei chitarristi più efficaci dal vivo).
