Django Reinhardt's name is synonymous with gypsy guitar. This extraordinary video explores the influence of this great jazz musician and how his music has spread worldwide. Babik Reinhardt (Django's son), Bireli Lagrene, Boulou & Elios FerrE, The Gypsy Kids, Gary Potter, Serge Krief, and The Stochelo Rosenberg Trio are featured as well as a rare short film clip of Django performing. 52 minutes. Many do so for traditional as well as musical reasons, for Django was a gypsy and his music is a strong strand of gypsy culture.
