Jorma Kaukonen started out as an acoustic fingerpicker before becoming a rock legend as lead guitarist for the Jefferson Airplane and Hot Tuna. (He and the Airplane were inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 1995.) Jorma has released more than two-dozen albums, both solo and in various groups. In recent years, he has been pursuing the acoustic blues and country fingerpicking styles that he has always loved best. A lifelong interest in teaching has resulted in several Homespun instructional DVDs, videos and Cds as well as Fur Peace Ranch, the successful guitar camp he and his wife, Vanessa, founded in southeast Ohio.
