Subject of this video are the toques de ida y vuelta. Manolo Franco, winner of the "Giraldillo del Toque de la III Bienal de Arte Flamenco" 1984 in Sevilla, plays and explains two of his prize-winning concert pieces: a Colombiana and a Guajira. Manolo discusses each toque step by step. Special fingerings and techniques of both hands are being analysed in great detail. Helpful comments regarding interpretation are also included. Manolo is one of the few flamenco guitarists who are able to play any passage very slowly. This certainly makes the comprehension of his elaborate pieces a lot easier.
